Rick Clark (Gene
Clark's brother) has just (April 2020) released his first album called "A
Million Fallen Tears". It features 11 tracks, including “Del Gato”, co-written
by both brothers.
The album
is said to be available from Cole-Has Records, but I was unable to find them
online. Help welcome.

Buddy Woodward here (formerly of the Ghost Rockets, Dixie Bee-Liners and the Kingston Trio), I produced and arranged this one for Rick back in 2018 and 2019.
ReplyDeleteHe started the tracks in a studio in Idyllwilde, California, it was mostly him and his guitar playing to a click track, and then some messy overdubs, half of which were out of tune and unusable, so at Rick's request I took the tapes to my studio in Nashville, cleaned up what I could and overdubbed most of the rest of the instruments and vocals, after which we mixed it in North Carolina.
Not sure if you can find physical copies for sale anywhere, all kinds of stupid, and typically Clarkian self-destructive ridiculousness happened during and after production so I bailed on the project before it was mastered and pressed.
You can however find it on YouTube, and I urge you to give it a listen, I snuck a whole bunch of Clark and Byrds "easter eggs" into the songs...see if you can find them.
The credits were completely misattributed, incorrect and/or missing on the final product, along with most of my package design (save for the cover), so here are the correct ones:
