Gene Parsons' MELODIES CDs - spot the difference! - UPDATE

Has this difference been mentioned anywhere before?

Of course, now that you see both covers, it’s obvious.

The first image is from the original CD release on John Delgatto’s Sierra Records in 1995.

The second image is from the CD re-release on Gene Parsons’ Stringbender Records in 2001. 

The original LP was released in 1979 on Sierra Records SRS 8703 (image = same as the original Sierra CD).

The image at the top with me facing to the left of the cover was the Sierra issue. The other image was the StringBender re-mastered issue.

Two more unseen pictures of The Byrds 1973 courtesy of Toulouse Engelhardt - Many Thanks To Him

Pictures taken at the Byrds show at Boise State College, Boise, Idaho  1/28/1973, when Toulouse Engelhardt was on tour with them as the band's support act.

Update 04/9: we've had some questions about who the drummer was. The drummer is Dennis Dragon , who went on to curl his hair, color it blond and be a founding member of  The Surf Punks.

This image too was sent to us by Toulouse Engelhardt, who was a student at the college and attended the concert on October 29, 1965.
