Request - Second try

I’m missing one track by Chris Hillman

If any good soul could send a link to get it, I would be eternally grateful.

The source and the link won’t be published.

Thanks in advance.

Reminder: R.I.P. the BYRDS FLYGHT website May 1st, 2021

Sad news! We’ve been informed by our host that the free webspace linked to our Skynet subscription will cease to be offered as from May 1st, 2021.

In the process, the Byrds Flyght website that we started in June 1999 will disappear from the Internet.

Although it has not been updated for a long time, it still is a source for all info about the band.

So if you want to save something from there, do it now.

N.B.: this blog and its mirror at  https://byrdsflyght.ucoz.com/blog/ are not linked to Skynet and will continue to be updated.

R.I.P. Rusty Young (75)

Rusty Young, co-founder of POCO, died April 14, 2021. He was 75.

He was the only member to have stayed with the band permanently since it was founded in 1968.

Chris Hillman plays mandolin on Poco's "Crazy Eyes" LP from 1973. The title track, "Crazy Eyes" was written by Richie Furay and is about Gram Parsons.

Memories Are Made Of This

A visitor of this website sent us the following story:

My name is Mike.  I attended a Byrds concert on Friday March 3rd, 1972 in Greeley Colorado at the University of Northern Colorado.

I do remember the crowd went crazy when the band did AMERICA'S GREAT NATIONAL PASTIME and of course EIGHT MILES HIGH, MR TAMBOURINE MAN and TURN TURN TURN.  My roommate was Jack K. who was a DJ at the University Radio Station: KUNC.  He invited the group over after the concert to our house that was a half block east of the Student Center.  We partied that night.  I woke up on the living room floor the next morning, and everyone was gone.  I guess they were better at partying than I was.  I sure wish I would not have partied that night.
