Owned by Gene Clark himself come four Columbia Test Pressing copies of a 45 rpm single Home Run King / Lonely Saturday. 

The vinyl is thin and very flexible.  

These are the same recordings released on the album Two Sides To Every Story.  

It is unclear if this was released as a single record. 

Collectors do come across a white label promo 45 of Home Run King mono/ stereo sides.

New album by Bennett Wilson Poole available very soon

Danny Wilson (Danny And The Champions Of The World, Grand Drive), and Robin Bennett (The Dreaming Spires, Saint Etienne) join forces with Tony Poole (Starry Eyed and Laughing), producer extraordinaire, and king of the electric twelve-string Rickenbacker to form their own “supergroup”.

The eleven songs on the record are all written, sung and played by us and produced by Tony.

Bennett Wilson Poole, the record, is officially released on April 6^th, 2018, but it’s available to pre-order right now at Pledge Music, so you can be first to get your hands on the album in all formats (Vinyl, CD and download) and some other cool stuff too. 

All pre-orders will get access to some bonus stuff in the lead up to the album release, along with an immediate download of the track “Wilson General Store”.

Sweetheart Of The Rodeo by Lloyd Green and Jay Dee Maness

 

 

Pedal steel guitar players Lloyd Green and Jay Dee Maness both played on The Byrds' "Sweetheart Of The Rodeo" album in 1968.

Their new CD (to be released on April 22nd, 2018) is called "Journey To The Beginning - A Steel Guitar Tribute To The Byrds Sweet Heart Of The Rodeo". It features 10 tracks from these Spring 1968 sessions, recently re-recorded by the duo.

Gene Clark 6 track vinyl to be released on Record Store Day in April 2018

Gene Clark, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee as a member of the Byrds, struck out on his own in 1966 but by early 1967 he was out looking for another label.

These tracks are some of his efforts in recording as a solo singer/songwriter during that time. These recordings included backup by famous L.A Wrecking Crew (Leon Russell, Glen Campbell, Hal Blaine, etc.) along with special guest, Hugh Masekela.

The 180g vinyl records were pressed at Hand Drawn Pressings in Texas on the newly designed and manufactured 'WarmTone' automated presses.
Packaged in a limited edition numbered silver foil jacket.
